Much of Maytag's reputation for performance comes from our decision to use the best materials and construction techniques available to us. We reinforce our frames with steel and use rivets not screws, so that every refrigerator is built to last. Maytag exclusives, like our Strong-Box"' hinges, No-Clean" commercial quality condenser, and Airlock''" gaskets all contribute to making Maytag one of the most trouble free brands of refrigerators one can buy, a much welcomed benefit that becomes evident after years of use.
Maytag's Dual Cool freshness design
Dual Cool freshness design gives Maytag refrigerators separate temperature sensors and controls for the freezer and fresh food compartments. A self adjusting damper responds t o sudden temperature changes from door openings and automatically adjusts the amount of cool air intake, ensuring consistent temperature throughout.
Sound silencing system
Maytag's Quiet Plus sound silencing system reduces noise levels to as low as 47 decibels, making the Maytag range the quietest ever. Special insulating foam, sound dampening material and a low decibel compressor all contribute to a Maytag refrigerator’s incredibly quiet system.
Dual-port airflow system
Unlike single-port airflow systems which can channel concentrated cold air into one area of the refrigerator, Maytag utilises a dual-port system. This unique system provides a more consistent distribution of air to all zones of the refrigerator to help ensure food stays fresher longer.

All Maytag refrigerators have four star performance freezers, ensuring the longest possible storage times for your frozen food.
Food preservation storage zones
Maytag refrigerators are designed to do more than just keep food cold; they are also designed to keep food fresher for longer. Throughout a Maytag refrigerator there are different storage zones, each with different coolness and humidity levels that best preserve each type of food.

Your Maytag fridge freezer will never need defrosting. Furthermore the frost free operation ensures better temperature control allowing your food to stay fresher for longer.
TUMBLE DRYERS
Maytag tumble dryers are not only built to last longer than any other brand, but they work so well that they can even produce wrinkle-free laundry that reduces your ironing time. Special features on Maytag tumble dryers allow you to tumble dry even sensitive fabrics and reduce or eliminate shrinkage in your load. All that and designed with energy usage and the environment in mind.
Air Float Drying
The Maytag Air Float drying system tumbles and rotates the laundry without reversing the drum. The paddles inside the drum tumble the wash in a figure of eight pattern. This prevents creasing, improves drying and puts less strain on the appliance.
111 litre drum
The large drum volume with a capacity of 5kg enables the clothes to tumble freely to prevent creasing and improves drying.
WASHING MACHINES
All Maytag washing machines are built to last longer than any other brand. They are all rigorously tested before they leave the factory to guarantee you satisfaction. We are very proud of the fact that we have achieved a triple 'A' rating which means it is best in the class. This also means that we use our resources wisely, economically and efficiently. With economy of water, detergent and energy usage designed into all Maytag's laundry appliances, you can be sure we're doing our bit for the environment and that means you are too.
DISHWASHERS
There are up to 7 programmes to choose from with your Maytag dishwasher, depending on the model - everything from intensive wash at 75°C through to the gentle wash for more delicate items at 45°C. For maximum economy there is the Eco/Bio programme that extends the main wash cycle by 15 minutes and reduces the temperature to 50°C. This reduces energy consumption and allows the enzymes in detergents to have maximum effect to ensure superb cleaning. For those who never have enough space in the oven to heat the plates, there is a plate-warming programme available on selected models
